Aotearoa Film Festival 2009 – Te Wananga o Aotearoa, its name, which is in Māori, literally means “University of New Zealand” is again honoured to host the 2nd Annual Aotearoa Film Festival, screening at their Rotorua Campus, August 13th and 14th 2009.

This event is free. Hosted and organized by Te Wānanga o Aotearoa – School of Performing Arts.

The National Multicultural Festival takes over Canberra with ten days of street entertainment, performances, food markets and exhibitions. This summer the Carnival is expected to be as big as other years with the variety of activities and entertainment including the amazing midnight New Years Eve fireworks display. The amazing midnight New Years Eve fireworks display is a must to see and a excellent night of family entertainment. Newport’s Christmas Boat Parade
Newport’s Christmas Boat Parade has been judged one of the top ten holiday events in the country by the New York Times. The boats promenade along a 14-mile route and range from modest small craft to imposing trophy yachts. Many are elaborately decorated, with outlandish Christmas decorations and squadrons of carollers.
